Nina Simone: Four Women

Was talking about Nina Simone this morning. Was told a story about how she turned up over an hour late to a gig at Ronnie Scotts with two Tesco bags of shopping which she dumped on top of her piano and proceeded with the show. Which all sounded pefectly reasonable to me?!!

Anyways, on the back of that conversation came home and watched a thousand clips of her. A very special individual.
